It is finally October which means all things fall and Halloween for us! I can’t believe we are finally getting some cooler weather that we can enjoy. Some of you might not know, but we are in Arizona where it is HOT all the dang time! We just recently got some rain which knocked the temperatures down from 100 to the 80’s this week, so we are super excited! It is beginning to look like fall around here, and we couldn’t be happier! Since Halloween is coming up, I decided to do a simple paper plate pumpkin craft. I love doing these types of projects as most of the work for the little ones consist of just painting and gluing the faces on at the end. This particular craft is beyond adorable so you can use it for decorations all month long!
Supplies:
Paper plates
Orange Paint
Paint Brush
Pumpkin Faceย – print a free one off or use a black sharpie to draw one on it! Either way works!
Directions:
- Paint the paper plate orange on one side & let dry completely.
- Print off pumpkin face to cut out and glue or use a black sharpie to draw a face on the plate.
- Optional to add the green or brown stem on the top of the pumpkin.
** These particular pumpkins in the picture we just printed off faces to glue on and cover with modge podge.
If you have toddlers at home, this craft works well since its fairly simple. The kids love to do these types of projects and easier the better for me! You can even make this pumpkin craft with no face for Thanksgiving or just a fall activity. You have so many different options! If you do decide to print a face off for the plate, there are tons of free faces on Pinterest you can use. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
